All round arty human + summer loving gal

For me being creative is apart of my make up - It is my jam, my main passion in life and also one of my many loves. And I have been so lucky to be harnessing my arty creativity since I was 14 years old.

I have always grown up as a creative. Watching my mother knit those beautiful 80's/90's kids jumpers ( I was a pro pompom maker by 7!) and growing up in the creative seaside city of Nelson had a massive impact on me creatively. To this day those colour combinations, love for the handmade and passion for the arts have heavily influenced my art.

FOR NOW, I say for now becuase it changes ALL THE TIME - my creative loves are; Capturing people as they are, in their bubbles of love, life and fun, making epic paper goods for soon to be forever mates, creating arty prints to make your home feel spesh and projects that bring my sunny heart J O Y!

I tend to favour the unique, the handmade and the authentic parts of life, art and design.

I also love the ocean (when it doesn't steal my other half, Navy WAG life!), pizza, Nelson Boysenberries, anything gold and our cute as pup, Nala. Oh plus the husb, PJK haha.

I have a few of those diploma/degree/postgrad things too...

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Arts (University of Auckland, Elam School of Fine Arts)
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design)
  • Diploma in Contemporary Photography (Design and Arts College of New Zealand)

And I have had my own artwork and photographs published in a few places;

  • Wild Hearts Wedding Fairs
  • The Herald
  • NZ House and Garden Magazine
  • Urbis Landscapes
  • Threaded Magazine
  • Art News New Zealand
